Fall Festival Fun

Bring your most comfortable walking shoes and a warm sweater to Red Rocks Country this fall to be fully prepared to hit our lively festival scene. Sedona Plein Air Festival, Oct. 27-Nov. 22

Throughout the month of October, the 18-year-old Sedona Plein Air Festival celebrates our region’s natural beauty and art. Plein air painters will be in town to capture it all in their creative manner. The Sedona Arts Center will post artist locations on their social media channels. Watch them paint live throughout the Verde Valley and attend a workshop, paint-out or the final awards ceremony at the arts center. 

Fall Arts and Crafts Festival at the Sedona Heritage Museum, Oct. 12, 9 AM-3 PM

Stock up on handmade holiday gifts at the Fall Arts & Crafts Festival at the Sedona Heritage Museum. Bonus: You’ll get to enjoy dramatic red rock scenery as you browse. Meet the artists and chat with them about their goods, much of which is only available at this festival. 

Pumpkin Walk at the Flagstaff Arboretum, Oct. 26 

Take a walk through glowing jack-o-lanterns at the Arboretum at Flagstaff, just in time for Halloween. Enjoy food carts, hot beverages, craft beer, festive music and kid-friendly activities. Costumes are highly encouraged! 

Page Balloon Regatta Oct. 31-Nov. 3

Watch a mesmerizing display of colorful hot-air balloons as they take to the blue skies above Lake Powell from the Lake Powell National Golf Course each day of this highly anticipated festival. More than 60 balloons will peacefully ascend each day, their striking palettes complemented by the Navajo sandstone and the Vermillion Cliffs. Don’t miss the street fair in downtown Page with food and craft vendors, kids’ activities, a beer garden and live music. The festival culminates with the ethereal Balloon Glow on November 2nd at 6:30 PM. 

Dia de los Muertos, Nov. 1-2

Immerse yourself in festive decor, altars, large-scale art installations and vignettes as you celebrate Dis de los Muertos at Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. Look forward to live music and dance performance, and sugar skull decorating. The Marigold Mural Project is held at the same time. Guests are invited to decorate the public mural to honor their lost friends and family members. 

Sedona Food Truck Festival, Nov. 9

Get your grub at the Sedona Food Truck Festival at Posse Grounds Park. Bring a hearty appetite to indulge in a mouthwatering selection of great food, beer and wine, all set to live music. Admission is free.
